The Animal Shelter’s Annual Paw ‘n Pole event is just days away (February 26th, 11am at the Sun Valley Gun Club)! This family friendly event is fun for all ages and fitness levels. Costumes are encouraged as we celebrate “Dr. Seuss”, our 2017 theme. Your registration includes lunch, beverages, and entitles you and your dog(s) to participate in any or all activities including xc ski races, snow shoe strolls, 3k canine skijor, silly pet trick contest, costume contest, and agility course!
Have you signed up yet?
If not, here are just a few reasons you don’t want to miss out.
It’s going to be way better exercise than that cat aerobics class you’ve be thinking about trying. And let’s be real, the cat wasn’t all that excited about it anyway.
SO. MUCH. FOOD. Seriously, the Haven Food Truck, Sawtooth Brewery, and other local vendors will all be there to meet your energy needs!
Prizes! Come on, who doesn’t love winning? The best part? We have prizes in every category – best costumes, best pet tricks, best skiers, the list goes on.
Besides, even if you don’t win a prize – doesn’t getting out with your pup on a nice day feel like reward enough?
Costumes are always encouraged at the Paw ‘n Pole. This year’s theme is Dr. Seuss, which means your options for dressing up are just about endless. While costumes aren’t required – they are definitely fun! Given some of the outfits we saw last year, we know the bar will be set pretty high for this year!
You’ll be helping Shelter pets all while getting exercise, bonding with your dog, meeting new friends, eating good food, and living that Sun Valley lifestyle. What more could anyone ask for?
(you’ll save $5 by pre-registering!)
See you there!
