Dana – now aptly known as “Gabby” – is settling  in wonderfully. For a cat who has been housed and relocated in the last 12 months more than any human being would care to be, she is amazingly resilient and comfortable to call any place “home”…with the promise that it is her forever home…. mine is that. It has been almost 13 years since I have had the feline variety of 4 legged furry companions. I have been accustomed to the larger ( ie. two 100# Bouviers) furry “people” sharing my bed. Nevertheless, Gabby makes her presence known from the moment the lights go out. She snuggles and spoons just as close as she can making it almost impossible to turn over and be anything other than in one position for the whole night. Attempts to roll over are usually met with a complete sandpaper tongue licking of my face.  She adds a new dimension to the phrase micro-dermabrasion. I am hoping to be rejuvenated and wrinkle free in a very short time and that her “treatment” will save me lots of money. Additionally she has a very “in your face" approach to companionship ie. when I am  sitting down, she is on my lap and looking in my face… at the computer, she is on the keyboard*dd+d# %ddddsdf (example) and looking in my face…and so it goes…..Yes, it is match made in heaven and we are both strumming our harps although hers sounds more like a purrrrrr. Thanks for a wonderful girl!
