NICK: Medium size neutered male red heeler mix. Estimated DOB December 2008 -- Nick has been waiting for his new home longer than any puppy deserves. The last of a litter of 14 to be adopted, Nick has been spending the last few months in a loving foster home where he is learning the ins and outs of being a cherished family companion. Nick is housebroken, crate trained, great with other dogs and a wonderful hiking companion. Nick can be a bit timid around new people, but given time and some space, he warms up easily and eventually trusts everyone. Nick would do best in a quieter home without children. If you are looking for a dog that already has near perfect housemanners and is always up for a hike, this might just be the perfect dog for you!

Join us at Hikin' Buddies! Each Wednesday ASWRV dogs will be vying for your attention at the Adams Gulch Trailhead, hoping you can take them for a hike. The Shelter brings family friendly, adoptable dogs to Adams Gulch from 9:30-1:00 and encourages members of the community to take the dogs out from some exercise.
