JET: Medium size neutered male German Shorthair Pointer / Labrador Retriever mix. Estimated DOB June 2007 -- Jet’s owners decided to give him up because they didn't quite have the lifestyle for a dog like Jet. Pointers and Labs both tend to be energetic dogs who require daily exercise and prefer to be part of the family. Jet is a very social and friendly dog and when left isolated too long will figure a way to venture out and make some new friends on his own! Jet loves everyone he meets and is always eager for fun. He has lived harmoniously with cats and gets along with most dogs but can be a bit grumpy with them at times. Because he has not been well socialized with dogs, he would do best in a home with a more submissive dog, or a dog who would gently teach Jet what is and isn’t appropriate dog behavior. This handsome boy is ready to share in all of life's adventures with a new forever family.

Join us at Hikin' Buddies! Each Wednesday ASWRV dogs will be vying for your attention at the Adams Gulch Trailhead, hoping you can take them for a hike. The Shelter brings family friendly, adoptable dogs to Adams Gulch from 9:30-1:00 and encourages members of the community to take the dogs out from some exercise.
