JERSEY

JERSEY: Medium size neutered male Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Estimated DOB November 2008 – Jersey and his buddy, Snapple were apparently abandoned near the shelter property. Initially, Jersey was quite frightened by his new surroundings and all of life’s sudden changes. After getting used to the routine, Jersey realized that shelter life wasn’t so bad and has grown to love all of the human affection he receives. In Jersey’s previous life, little emphasis was placed on manners and obedience training. Jersey has a certain exuberance for life and sometimes shows his excitement in inappropriate ways. He definitely means well, but just needs some guidance and consistency to instill good manners and allow him to be the good boy he so wants to be. Jersey is looking for a benevolent leader who will guide him and care about him and love him forever.
