CUBBY BEAR: Medium size spayed female Husky / Cattle Dog mix. Estimated DOB January 1998 -- Cubby Bear’s owner was unable to properly care for her and she came to the shelter for the chance at a new life. She has spent most of her days living with her best friend, Blueberry, and hadn’t spent much time off of her property. She is therefore a bit unsure in new situations and surroundings and will require some patience from her new family. Cubby Bear seems initially to be a serious girl, not one to give her affections to just anyone. She needs to be sure you are trustworthy and then she will share her deepest secrets and her heart with you. Cubby gets along well with other dogs and it would be lovely if she and Blueberry could stay together. If not, we feel it would be best for her to have another canine companion to be part of her new family. Cubby Bear is housebroken and would do best in a home experienced with shy dogs and without young children. This sweet girl has fallen on some hard times and would so appreciate a warm bed and lots of love to go along with it.
