PERSIA: Medium size spayed female Persian. Estimated DOB January 2009 -- Persia came to the shelter when her owner moved and could not bring her along. She is described as a bit timid, so naturally, her first few days at the shelter were a bit overwhelming for her. While indeed timid at first, Persia is slowly coming out of her shell. She enjoys attention and seems fine with the other cats in her room. In fact, we think due to her shy nature, she would do best with another friendly cat in the household. Persia will need regular grooming in order to keep her coat well maintained and adopters should be familiar with the Persian breed. This sweet girl has always been a loving companion and we know the right adopter will come along and see her inner and outer beauty.
